This network makes it possible to drive position indicators with passing chimes, lanterns with arrival gongs, voice units, scrolling messages centers, as well as our Mini and Elite PI’s all from the same 3 wires.

The network includes an error detection and correction feature which means each signal goes through a redundancy check to ensure that the signal follows a logical sequence.

The network is also capable of latching the signals on to eliminate flickering or a blank display until another good signal is received.

The MICRO COMM® 3 wire network provides a self-test feature. The driver generates a signal itself using your actual floor markings to assist in troubleshooting the installation.

Possibly one of the most helpful functions of the MICRO COMM® network is the Alternate Message. Our units when placed on an emergency status will alternate a two-digit abbreviation of that status with the floor marking, giving an indication to just where the car is in the hoistway.
