This device acts as an interface between between Assembly Qualifier products and the General Motors DeviceNet based system known as COSS. The COSS interface retrieves information from the Qualifier and reports it to the GM line control via DeviceNet. Cycle statuses such as cycle accepts, batch accepts, and rejects can be reported. A stack light and horn can be attached to this interface so that the GM line control can can report conditions back to the line. The GM line control can also change parameters on the Assembly Qualifier through this interface.
