ELITE PI ® DISPLAYS

The Elite PI stands out above all other elevator displays by being the most flexible position indicator available. It allows the representation of much more than just an elevator position. It’s a multi-functional unit designed to display both custom graphics and text, such as advertisements, tenant or building information and text-based messages.

The Elite PI includes the Elite PI Designer software, which is used to modify or create designs for use with an Elite PI. The designer software allows you to design, organize and implement the information for your displays in a simple, intuitive way. The software also allows you to customize your displays with special features*, such as streaming video, scrolling data and stock ticker information. You can then update your displays whenever you desire using the Elite PI Transfer software.

There is no on-going monthly charge by C.E. Electronics. Once the units are installed, the design, content and the frequency with which they are changed is entirely up to you. C.E. Electronics will be glad to help design the first set of graphics for your Elite PI’s, but never has to be involved in the process again. However, graphic design and training are always available if needed.

SCHEDULED MESSAGES are displayed based upon date and time. Messages can be programmed to display at specific times, dates, days of the week and direction of elevator travel. This flexibility is popular with building owners who like having the elevators generating revenue and also of advertisers who like to utilize the otherwise wasted travel time.

FLOOR-BASED MESSAGES allow for easier building navigation by providing floor-specific tenant directories when the elevator stops at a given floor.

PRIORITY MESSAGES are displayed on the screen when the Elite PI receives a signal regarding events affecting the elevator's continued operation, such as information regarding elevator weight restrictions or fire alarms and procedures. [Standard Priority Messages (list)]

LOBBY DISPLAYS are installed on a landing and can indicate the position, direction and status of an entire bank of elevators. A lobby display can also show scheduled messages, which allows important building information and advertisements to be seen as people anticipate an elevator's arrival.

STREAMING VIDEO DISPLAYS can showcase streaming video formats such as mpeg, avi, swf and others. Entertain riders by displaying a movie, cable tv, a local news channel or a live sports feed from multiple sources.
